As per the news coming from Spain, it became official that Gerard Pique and Shakira are separated. After 11 years, this couple have separated themselves for what was an ideal relationship. The FC Barcelona player was accused of cheating with another woman by Shakira, which was confirmed by multiple sources.
How did it all start to unfold?
Shakira and Gerard Pique were dating since 12 years. They met at the shooting of the song ‘Waka Waka’, which became trending globally. Since then, they were listed amongst the ideal couples of all time.
Before they actually broke up, Shakira’s latest single ‘Te Felicato’ with Rauw Alejandro included some lines which made fans speculate their break-up. Those lines go “To complete you, I broke into pieces. They warned me but I didn’t listen. Don’t tell me you’re sorry. That seems sincere but I know you well and I know you lie.”
According to some reports, Pique was cheating on Shakira with a woman, which later was known as FC Barcelona’s youngster Gavi’s mother. However, these reports later emerged as ‘fake’ by many other reports. It is known that there was a 22 year old who Pique was meeting recently. She is reportedly a student and an event hostess in Barcelona.
Suzy Cortez’s confession on Pique
Suzy Cortez, a Brazilian Model has said an confession about Pique. She states, “He [Pique] was the one who sent me the most direct message. The only Barcelona players who never sent me anything were Messi and Coutinho. They are great husbands and respect their wives a lot,” She said those conversations also involved talks about her butt and her revisit to Europe.
Whilst these are some serious allegations dampening Pique’s character even further, it also raises some question marks on the rest of the FC Barcelona players apart from Messi and Coutinho.
What now?
Gerard Pique is reportedly living alone in a bachelor’s pad in Calle Muntaner, Barcelona. He is also being seen going to party with FC Barcelona youngster Riqui Puig. Shakira in her official statement posted on Instagram says, “For the well-being of our children, who are our latest priority, we ask that you respect our privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”
