Copa America 2020have got the attention of the world with many stars fighting for a place in World Cup and continental glory. The competition is headed towards the Quarterfinals and the match that the whole world will have eyes on is Argentina vs Ecuador. Argentina’s Impressive form in the Copa America
Argentina started their quest with a draw but as they progressed, they have proved to be a deadly side if allowed to attack. Messi has been leading the attack from the front showering the side with goals and assists for his team.
Their journey through the group stage looked shaky in the first match against Chile where they were held back by Chile. The Argentine side had to settle for a draw on the final whistle. Ecuador managed to find a spot in the Quarter-Finals
Ecuador has had a bit tough tournament. The side lost their opening match to Colombia with only one deciding one. However, the side showed a fantastic display in both attack and defense as they managed to hold Venezuela and Peru scoring 2 goals on both sides. The side later went on to hold Brazil’s star-packed team with a 1-1 draw booking their place in the Quarterfinals of the Copa America 2020.
Players to watch and the expected result
Copa America has always been a great competition to enjoy the real South American style of football. There is always action no matter which team is playing. This fixture is expected to bring the same. While it will always be fun to watch Messi at play but there are a few players that can even make their presence felt on the pitch. Players like Angel Correa and Nicolas Dominguez in the midfield will be worth keeping an eye on. Other than that Martinez, Alvarez is expected to bring some attacking football in the front.
