Aguero had an amazing career with Manchester City for the next 10 years. Filled with trophies and records it was clear in that final match of the season 2011-2021, that Kun Aguero is a big match player. To this day Aguero has scored a total number of 257 goals in 384 games. The numbers look unreal for a Premier League’s stats. Despite injuries and scored more than 17 goals in all the season he had played with City. It can be said that a young player from the Spanish league came to England and conquered it.
Sergio Aguero is undoubtedly a living Manchester City legend. With more than 250 goals under his belt for Manchester City, Aguero is currently the all-time top scorer for Manchester City. A Heart-Breaking Departure
Since the arrival of Pep Guardiola, Manchester City have been invincible for a while. They currently lead the Premier League table with 14 points ahead of 2nd place Manchester United. Also, with such amazing form, it looks promising for City to win the Champions League this season.
Though the success keeps coming to City year after year, it is quite the opposite for their star striker Sergio Aguero. This season he has scored only 3 goals and his playtime at the club has considerably decreased since the arrival of Gabriel Jesus. It was clear after Manchester City’s win in Gladbach. Sergio Aguero then broke the tension with a statement after the match to his coaching staff. Soon after that, he has announced that he is going to leave Manchester City this summer after his contract expires.
Though this is explained beautifully by Sergio Aguero’s post on Instagram that he will always be a Citizen but it is time for him to take on a new adventure. His career from being a fresh signing to legend has been amazing. However, Sergio Aguero will be honored with a statue alongside his title-winning teammates and former Manchester City captains David Silva and Vincent Kompany at Etihad Stadium at Manchester.

What the future holds for Sergio Aguero is a mystery but if the rumors are to be believed then FC Barcelona looks favorites to signing him this summer. However, it would be a feisty fight between the clubs for this promising striker and big match player named Sergio Aguero. Being a legend, it would be interesting to see where this superstar land, and if he is to return to the Spanish League how would he be paired with his fellow Argentine Lionel Messi will be interesting to see.
