Premier League is the ONE to watch out for

Premier League Needs no Introduction !

The Premier League has a pretty impressive worldwide reach. With such a huge fan base, it is often regarded as the most competitive league in Europe. The English top-flight league had unfortunately lost its charm in the last few seasons as it became a two-horse race. It saw Liverpool and Manchester City fighting for the title while the other teams remained miles apart from competing for the coveted trophy. However, the new Premier League season starts in a few days and promises to be full of surprises. Let’s see why every football fan needs to keep an eye on the PL leaderboard during the 20/21 campaign.

The Manchester effect on Premier League

Premier League Manchester

While last season champions Liverpool will surely have a run for their money in order to keep the title, their closest competitor Manchester City will try to get back their hands on the trophy. City, who struggled defensively last season has strengthened their defense with the addition of Nathan Ake in the team. They are also in a prime position to land Napoli ace center back Kalidou Koulibaly and bring him to Etihad. Ferran Torres is a great addition to Pep’s team and will surely boost their ace attacking lineup.

The Red part of Manchester have also found their mojo back since the signing of Bruno Fernandez and is in a great run of form. With the addition of Van de Beek and hopefully Jadon Sancho, Manchester United will look to make teams toil hard for the top 4 spots.

Londoners in the Coming

London clubs always play a major role in the title race and they will definitely look to spice up the Premier League. At Spurs, we have Jose Mourinho’s second season, where he usually does wonders. Spurs have also signed Matt Doherty from Wolves, a perfect signing for Jose Mourinho. After an injury-laden season, Spurs will be looking to fight for European football this season as well.

Mikel Arteta is doing a splendid job at the Emirates. He already managed to get an FA Cup title and a Europa League spot for Arsenal. He also led Arsenal to Community shield victory by defeating last season champions, Liverpool. With the addition of Willian, Gabriel, and Ceballos, Arsenal would definitely give another team’s a run for their money.

With a major overhaul in the first team, Frank Lampard’s Chelsea is set to send shivers down the spine of pther teams. The arrivals of Werner, Ziyech, and Havertz teams will find it hard for the Londoners from scoring. Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell will also strengthen their torrid defense, which was their weakest point from the last campaign.

The English Underdogs

Everton has also made some terrific signings like James Rodriguez, Allan, and Doucoure while Wolves have added another Portuguese youngster in Fabio Silva. With such quality additions, these teams can upset the big boys and battle it out for Europa League spots. We also have to factor in Marco Bielsa’s Leeds this time around. Under Bielsa, Leeds-United has become a team to reckon with. The addition of Rodrigo Moreno and De Paul has made them capable to cause major upsets. Also, we can’t just ignore teams like Newcastle and Aston Villa who will also look to finish higher up the table this season.

Conclusion

Overall this season Premier League will be very unpredictable and full of surprises . Looking at various teams and their squads, predicting Top 4 will be a very tough task at hand. The Premier League is set for a mouth-watering finish this season. All the teams have rejuvenated their squads with exceptional signings.

Every football fan irrespective of his favorite club or league must keep eye on the Premier League as it going to be highly competitive this time.
