FPL GAMEWEEK 32: Team Selection

The last week saw a dismal performance for the heavy picks in Sterling,Kane, De Bruyne and Fernandes. However Jesse Lingard has kept his run of form and it’s inevitable that he will be touted to take the armband. If he can keep up his red hot form, he can surely be a choice for Captain. The last game between the seagulls and Everton ended with a 0-0 draw. The big game between United and Spurs ended up with United making a classic comeback.
This gameweek has a rather easy captain pick as Spurs face a double gameweek ahead. Here’s how the team is lining up.

Edouard Mendy

He faces a Brighton attack that has just scored 4 goals in 4 away matches. They played out a 0-0 draw against Everton in the last match.

Trent Alexander Arnold

He has a very smooth run of fixtures ahead of him. He has the most expected assists among the defenders in the premier league.

Luke Shaw

He is the most improved player in the premier league so far this season. Unsurprisingly, he finds his spot in the team with a look on that clean sheet. The Red Devils will try to pick up all the three points against Burnley to remain within 8points from City.

Conor Coady

Wolves face the bottom side of Sheffield United that have just scored 2 goals in last 6 matches.

Diogo Jota

He has 3 goals in last 4 goals, only Lingard has more. Only Greenwood and Salah have fired more shots from inside the box.

Bruno Fernandes

Fernandes has 6 efforts on target each, only Havertz has more. Leeds although have tightened up their defence, particularly at home.

Jesse Lingard

The Englishman has a dream FPL run going on at a resurgent loan spell, with 2 well taken goals last week.

Son Heung Min(vice captain)

The Spurs winger scored against United in the last gameweek, and has a double game week so obvious choice.

FPL Forwards

Ollie Watkins

City might see rotations with important matches all around them, Watkins has 2 goals and 1 assist in last 4 matches averaging 5.5 points per game.

Kelechi Iheanacho

He will be hoping to continue his good run of form when West Brom visit the King power stadium. With 7 goals in 6 game weeks.

Harry Kane (captain)

Kane has just earned 1 fewer points than Iheneacho with 6 goals and 2 assists in the last 7 matches. With a double game week, he is also the Captain

  1. No Arsenal players when they are facing Fulham while Ollie Watkins is in the squad and they are facing Man City. Sad.
