Introduction
The Premier League is ongoing in full flow in its 2021-22 edition and is now poised to enter into the third gameweek of the season. We have seen a lot of fascinating matches till now in the PL and many more are yet to come. For the Fantasy team makers, the last week has been a quiet low-scoring one. The two most popular captain picks, Salah and Fernandes, returned home with 1 and 3 points respectively. To add more agony to it, a couple of fixtures didn’t go the way we would’ve liked them to go. Manchester United drew 1-1 with Southampton, Leeds drew 2-2 with Everton and Leicester lost 1-4 to Westham. Now as we are into the new gameweek, we have made the team keeping the upcoming fixtures in mind and the players’ recent performances.

Last week the team made by Ball That Matter’s FPL experts returned with a substantial amount (70 points) of points. So, it’s time to select the most preferred team for this gameweek which has many interesting clashes.
GOALKEEPERS FOR FPL
Roberto Sanchez (Brighton) Price – £4.5 M
The Brighton shot-stopper has been a revelation at the start of this season. He is one of the most popular choices now with an affordable cheap price going his way. In the previous two-game weeks, he has returned with 8 points which are quite appreciable for a goalkeeper. Sanchez also kept a clean sheet last week in their outing against Watford. Against Everton, he would be looking to continue his excellent performance between the sticks and earn a good amount of points.
DEFENDERS FOR FPL
Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) Price – £7.5 M
When you are making an FPL team these days, it is almost impossible to keep Alexander-Arnold out of your team. The man has carried his awesome performance from last year into this year too. He is the third highest-earning defender in the last 2gameweeks with a total of 18 points in his kitty. Liverpool is welcoming Chelsea at the Anfield this weekend, and Alexander-Arnold has a stern test in front of him. He will look to return with quite a good number of points in his bag.
Aaron Cresswell ( West Ham) Price – £5.5 M
The Englishman was one of the standout performers for Westham in their dream run last season. He and Coufal together formed one of the deadliest full-back duos in the league. He already has scored 1 goal in 2 matches for them and has bagged 9 points till now. Aaron will be next facing against a weak crystal palace side and can pick up many points if he shows up well. We hope he comes up with a decent performance against the Eagles.
Luke Shaw ( Man United) Price – £5.5 M
The Englishman was potentially the best-left pack in the Premier League last year. He has started this season at quite a slow pace but we expect him to return to his scoring days soon. It’s almost impractical to make an FPL team without this guy. We all know what he can do when he returns to form. Shaw is facing Wolves this weekend and there can’t be a better stage to put up a good performance. Definitely, he can earn many points if he remains in form.

MIDFIELDERS FOR FPL
Bruno Fernandes (Man United) Price – £12.0 M
If you are playing FPL even for the first time, you should know that Bruno Fernandes is inevitable in your squad. He has virtually ruled the EPL for nearly two years. Such is the Portuguese’s dominance that he has become undroppable in FPL teams. He starred in the first gameweek with a hat-trick against Leeds. Bruno was a bit off-color last weekend against the Saints but certainly, he will be back in form against Wolves. He is again our preferred captain’s choice for this week.
Saïd Benrahma ( WestHam) Price – £6.2 M
The Algerian has been the top performer in this PL season till now with some eye-catching displays. He has been the biggest find for Westham carrying his excellent form since the preseason. Benrahma has already scored 2 goals and 2 assists in 2 games for the Hammers. As expected, he has earned the most number of points among the players with 24 points in his bag. Westham is welcoming crystal palace in their home ground and Benrahma would be eagerly waiting to deliver some exceptional performance again.
Diogo Jota (Liverpool) Price – £7.6 M
Carrying on from his Euros form, Diogo Jota has started to show it up on the Liverpool Jersey. He has already scored 2 goals for the Reds in as many appearances for them. Jota has been the pick of the midfielders collecting 16 points in 2 matches. He has been able to rediscover his lost form and Ka now looking deadly. Jota will be facing a strong Chelsea defense next and he can score if he uses the opportunities well.
Raphinha Dias ( Leeds United) Price – £6.5 M
The Brazilian winger has been in sensational form since last season for Leeds. He was one of the main reasons behind Leeds’ fairytale run last year after being promoted from the 2nd Division. After having recorded almost 15 g+a last year, he has started the season with a goal against Everton. Raphinha as accumulated 8 points over the two-game weeks already. We expect him to collect more when Leeds faces Burnley this weekend.

FORWARDS FOR FPL
Michail Antonio ( WestHam) Value – £ 7.6 M
The Englishman is in red hot form for the Hammers right from the first match. He has started just from where he has ended the last season. In only two matches, he has bagged a whopping 3 goals and 2 assists for his side. In the two-match weeks, he is the top earner among all the players with 29 points. He is Moyes’s main man when it comes to providing goals for the team up front. We fancy his chances of scoring against crystal palace and award us a high number of points.
Danny Ings ( Aston Villa) Value – £8.0 M
The former Southampton man is in red hot form for Villa since the start of the new season. He has scored a goal in each of the matches for them and is their main man up front now. He is one man to be feared in the box and doesn’t let any opportunity go to waste. Ings is a kind of “fox-in-the-box” striker who is Lethal in the opposition box now. Villa is up against a newly promoted Brentford side and there’re high chances of his finding the back of the net.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton) Price – £8.2 M
Calvert-Lewin is now one of the most consistent scorers in the PL. He has scored two times in two appearances for the Toffees in the new season. Among all the forwards, he is third on the list has gotten 14 points from two encounters. Whenever it comes to scoring goals upfront, Benitez always depends on him to do so. Against Burnley, we expect him to return with a substantial amount of points for the FPL team makers.
