Introduction
The Gameweek 27 of the EPL was quite fascinating bearing upsets for big teams as well as some good wins. The week started off with disappointment for FPL team makers with Arsenal being held 1-1 to Burnley. The biggest dismay was yet to come through and it happened with a 0-1 loss of Liverpool to Fulham. After that, there were some familiar results for the big sides with United pulling off a 2-0 win at Etihad. Tottenham also won quite convincingly to Crystal Palace with a scoreline of 4-1. Chelsea also regained their form after the United draw and won 2-0 to an in-form Everton. Lastly, West Ham United finished the week’s proceedings with a tricky 2-0 win to Leeds United. In this Gameweek 28 of the FPL, we would select our team keeping in mind the fixtures for this week.

GOALKEEPER FOR FPL
Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa) – Value – £ 5.4m
The Argentine has been in great form for Villa between the two sticks this season. He has made a whopping 96 saves for them, making him one among the five top goalkeepers in EPL. With Aston Villa slated to face a depleted Newcastle attack, he is expected to keep a clean sheet against them.

Jordan Pickford (Everton) Value – £ 4.8m
The Everton goalie has been excellent in the goal for the Toffees. He is among the top 10 savemakers in the PL this season. Everton are taking on Leeds this gameweek and he is expected to produce a fine performance.

Defenders for FPL
João Cancelo (Man City) Value – £6.2m
The Portuguese is in swashbuckling form for the Citizens both in the Champions league as well as the EPL. His ability to give inch perfect crosses and defence splitting passes are an invaluable asset to the Man City side. Man City will play this week to Fulham, a side trying to battle themselves out of relegation. Cancelo will look to pounce upon this opportunity to give up a solid performance against Fulham.
Lucas Digne (Everton) Value -£ 6.2m
The Everton left-back is enjoying a dream season for the Toffees and has already given 6 assists. In addition to this, he has also scored 3 times and is a strong pillar in Everton Defence. He also has the ability to become a good attacker. Everton is playing an out-of-form Burnley attack and he will try to make his presence felt in the game.



Luke Shaw (Man Utd) Value – £5.2m
The Englishman has finally found form for the Red Devils of late this season. He is now one of the best in his position in the PL. He has already given 6 assists and has scored a sublime goal against Man City in the previous match. United is playing an in-form Westham this weekend and they will bank on him to produce a generous performance.
Midfielders for FPL
Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd) Value – £ 11.5m
Literally,there are no adjectives to describe the Portuguese’s performance for United this season. He is again in form for them recording 1 goal and 1 assist in the past two matches. For a man who has scored 23 goals and given 13 assists, he will again try to increase his tally. With the Red Devils facing an in form West Ham, we fancy his chances to contribute upfront for United. He is our Captain for this weekend.
Gareth Bale(Tottenham) Value – £9.5m
The Welshman has finally found form at the White Hart Lane under Mourinho this season. He is instrumental in Tottenham’s good run of form recently and has contributed with 10 goals and 3 assists. His darting runs down the wing is definitely the strongest point for him. Tottenham is going to play an inconsistent Arsenal next and he will be Spurs’ main man to score goals upfront.



Mason Mount (Chelsea) Value – £ 7.0m
The player to have developed the most under Tuchel era is absolutely none other than Mason Mount. The Englishman has been in excellent form since Tuchel took over from Lampard. He has already scored 6 goals for the Blues and have helped with 5 assists. Chelsea are facing Leeds United this gameweek and he will again carry the expectations of delivering against them
Ilkay Gundogan( Man City) Value – £6.2m
The Spaniard has been in sensational form for the Citizens this season under Guardiola. He has found the back of the net 12 times and is in great touch over the last few matches. He has a lot of creativity in the midfield which helps the team to create more and more chances. Man City are playing a relegated Fulham this weekend and he will look to put a solid show on display.
Forwards for FPL
Patrick Bamford(Leeds United) Value – £ 6.8m
The breakthrough man for Leeds this season, Bamford, has carried the burden of scoring goals upfront for them. He has already chipped in with 13 goals and 5 assists this season. Surely, he will be the one to watch out for when Leeds faces a resurgent Chelsea tomorrow. He will certainly be looking to increase his tally and help his team in recording a win.



Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) Value – £ 6.6m
The Englishman is one of the many reasons why Aston Villa are offensively sound when it comes in scoring Goals. He has provided Villa with 10 goals and 3 assists in this season. A Predator in the box, he will look to add to his tally when Villa face Newcastle next.
Richarlison ( Everton) Value – £ 8.0m
The Brazilian has been in some awesome form for the Toffees this season. He has recorded 12 goals and 3 assists for them and is absolutely a fox in the box. Most importantly, he has scored 4 goals in the last 5 matches for Everton. Everton are listed to play Burnley in this week and he will look to continue his rich vein of form.

Steven Dallas( Leeds United) Value – £ 5.0m
The Leeds man has been the pillar in the defence for the them and has led their defence well. He is also quite apt in scoring goals upfront and has chipped in with 5 goals this season. Leeds are facing a good Chelsea attack and he is anticipated to put up an exemplary show in the match.



Ben Thomas Mee ( Burnley) Value – £ 5.0m
The Burnley man has been leading their defence well and is the main reason why they are quite sound defensively. He can also score goals when needed and that makes him versatile in defence for them. Burnley will take on a strong Everton attack and he will have to play well to increase their chances of winning.
Rapinha Dias( Leeds United) Value – £ 5.5m
The Leeds winger is in great form this season for them. He has already found the back of the net 5 times and has also provided 5 assists for his team. With Leeds playing against Chelsea this week, he will have to come out on top in attack to upset them.
