Introduction
There is a reason why football is called the beautiful game. Its obvious because of the miraculous moments we witness; be it the fast-flowing gameplay or the acrobatic dribbles and the reckless attempts at goal. But another factor why it is THE beautiful game is because of its sheer unpredictability. Last week, the FPL squads were decided considering the usual game time each player got from their respective managers but some were unexpectedly benched and not featured while some were off the match with minor injuries and are now doubtful. Keeping this in mind, we were careful about our analysis for this week. Before we begin with our analysis, a heads up on our article tomorrow on all the transfers that occurred in PL this window. Please make sure to check it out as soon as we publish it. Let’s begin with our squads.
GOALKEEPER FOR FPL
Edouard Mendy (CHE- £5.1m)

3 clean sheets in 3 games since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel. Mendy has phenomenal since the last 3 game weeks and giving positive results. He made crucial saves against the Spurs in GW22. Not to mention that stopping Lamela’s left-foot shot and denying the equalizer. Mendy has been a crucial part of the Thomas Tuchel Era already and hopes to group on in results that he keeps a clean against Sheffield United in GW23.
DEFENDERS FOR FPL
James Justin (LEI- £5.1m)
A grown player now, under the eyes of Brendan Rodgers. Surely an upcoming talent. A consistent performer for Leicester City and we hope he continues to do so against Wolves in GW23. With a brilliant score of 15 in the GW22, he does move forward and also has the ability to take shots, giving him an edge over many defenders.

Luke Shaw (MUN-£4.9)
An impressive performer under Ole Solskjaer, he has been consistent and been the best LB for Manchester United, since the arrival of his competitor, Alex Telles. Impressive GW22, providing 2 assists in just 45 minutes, putting in lovely crosses. Consistency is key, which he has to dwell on and perform again, against Everton in GW23.
Reece James (CHE- £5.0)
An impressive performer this PL, also started ahead of Azpilicueta many times, under Lampard, but now Tuchel involves both of them. Being a wing-back, he gives important runs through and crosses which are a delight for a CF and we hope performs well against Sheffield United in GW23. A must-have in your team, as he drops in with many bonus points in the end!
Ruben Dias (MCI- £5.7)
Another impressive performance last week against Burnley. 6 clean sheets in the last 6 game weeks, partnered with John Stones. Pep Guardiola has started him every game week since GW4 and will do so against the champions Liverpool in GW23. The city is top of the table and he has a huge part in that and a must-have in your team!
MIDFIELDERS FOR FPL
Harvy Barnes (LEI- £7.2m)

Still very underrated in the PL, he has performed too well under his manager. Consistently making those forward runs and taking beautiful long-range shots, he is a must-have. Impressive performances against Leeds, Southampton, Burnley, he hopes to score more goals against upcoming Wolves in GW23.
Jack Grealish (AVL- £7.7m)
By far, the most talented and underrated midfielder in the PL. He thrives on consistency and lovely vision to find a pass for his forwards. Also, scores many goals, getting in important positions throughout the game and goes along well with any of his forwards. Being with Villa for long, he hopes to continue and do well against Arsenal in GW23.
HM.Son(SPU- £9.4m)
Although a demoralizing result for Spurs last week against Liverpool and Chelsea, this week they have a chance to get back into the race as they face West Brom in GW23.Hopefully, he scores as he used to and gets Spurs up and running with the potential he carries.

Bruno Fernandes (MNU- £11.1m
The person anyone can rely on and Ole Solskjaer is relying on him big time. A blockbuster performer in United’s thumping wins 9-0 win against Southampton, with 2 assists and a goal. A compulsory in your team, with United facing Everton in GW23.
FORWARDS FOR FPL
Patrick Bamford (LEE- £6.3m)

A goal and 2 assists in his last match against Leicester helped his side win all 3 points at the King Power stadium. This ended his 3-match slump and is expected to do more this week against Crystal Palace in GW23. A very intelligent striker who also assists a lot!
Michail Antonio (WHU- £6.4m)
With West Ham facing Fulham in GW23, and Antonio being amongst the goals and providing assists, he is in really good form up for West Ham this season. An impressive last game, providing 2 assists in West Ham’s 3-1 win at Villa Park.
FINAL SQUAD FOR FPL GW23
Total Value: £73.9

Alternate Solutions ( Substitutes)
Calvert Lewin (EVE- £7.6m)
He isn’t really performing well at the moment, after coming back from an injury. Nothing in his last 3 games. Again his side will face Man United in GW23, who are title contenders. Rather prefer him in the substitutions for now.
Alex Lacazette (ARS- £8.4)
His work rate was very impressive last week against Wolves. Constant pressure on the defense, he was almost a nuisance to them. Provided a good ball to Pepe, who scored, even though it didn’t matter much. Arsenal Face Aston Villa in GW23, who has been impressive this PL under Dean Smith. Back him to score, as he performed ‘okay’ in the reverse fixture.

John Stones (MCI-£5.1)
THE best CB partnership with Ruben Dias, he has put up with the expectations. An impressive score of 21 in the double game week since, he is a must-have in your defense, along with Ruben Dias/Reece James. Reliable for Pep Guardiola again, and hopes to do well again against the champions Liverpool in GW23.
