Les Parisiennes had nailed it in business this window by signing the likes of Leo Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gini Wijnaldum, and Gigi Donorumma for free and 71 million euros for Achraf Hakimi. That’s 5 World Class players for a total sum of 71 million euros. These players are being added to the list of superstars like Kylian Mbappé, Neymar Jr, Angel Di Maria, Marco Verrati which makes PSG aside every opponent will fear to face.

Previous Season
Last season was not as per the expectations of PSG. The Parisians ended Ligue 1 on the 2nd spot losing the league to Lillie. In Champions League PSG made it to the semi-finals. Yet again there CL dream was broken as Manchester City knocked them out. Though PSG managed to win Coupe De France, their season was far below expectations.

PSG has further strengthened their Back by the inclusion of Euro Player of the Tournament Gigi Donorumma. The 22-year-old joined The Perisiens on a Free transfer from AC Milan. The 6 ft 6 inch tall Italian had a killer Euros as he won Italy the shootout in semis and the finals stepping up when his team needed him the most. Donorumma has never lost a penalty shootout in his entire career. PSG will be hoping for such wonders from their no.50 this season. Donorumma is expected to make his debut soon.
Gini Wijnaldum
Wijnaldum was the 1st signing of this season’s transfer window for Paris. PSG was in a tug of war vs Barcelona for the services of Dutch Midfielder. In the end, Wijnaldum joined PSG on a free transfer from Liverpool. Gini adds more and more to the productivity of Midfield with the likes of Marco Verrati. Wijnaldum likewise Ramos brings in the never-give-up trait within the squad. The addition of versatile Midfielder strengths things in the center for the Parisians. Wijnaldum already started few games from PSG where his performances were impressive and as the season progresses it will only get better.
Achraf Hakimi
Hakimi had a stellar season for the champions of Italy, Inter Milan. Achraf has a profile of quick, dynamic, and powerful full-back who is technically very solid with his gameplay. These are always ideal traits a team wish for and that’s why PSG broke the bank and signed him for a record 71 million euros. The Mbappe Dilemma
Kylian Mbappé started the new season for PSG on a roll scoring in 1st few games and everything looked fine. The Los Blancos will be back with some new proposals and with the possibility of losing Mbappe free to Real Madrid next season, PSG might be interested if a good offer pops in. With less than a week left in this wild transfer window, anything can happen.
Even though PSG still has faith and time in their favor to keep Mbappe they are also working to look for options if he ends up leaving. With Mbappe PSG have him Linking with Neymar and Messi which is a trio any defense will fear to face.
But with Mbappe ‘s future in the air PSG already looked at new possibilities upfront. Robert Lewandowski’s agent was in Paris with the Polish striker looking for a new challenge PSG can make a move. As per some reports, Mino Riola is trying to find a solution for Haaland to PSG. Until any of these comes true it’s all burning rumors. However, even if PSG fails to replace Kylian Mbappé this summer it’s not that a big issue for them.
Definitely losing a superstar like Mbappe is a big loss for any club but to cope up with them PSG still has a lot of power in the squad. With Mbbape gone they still have the services of Maruo Icardi, Angel Di Maria which added to the deadly duo of Neymar Jr and Leo Messi has the brilliance to tore apart any defense in world football.

PSG has started this season very strongly with 3 wins in 3 games they are currently at top of the Ligue 1 points table and this is without 3 of their 5 signings and without Neymar playing. With all of them returning in action in the coming days PSG will be more and more lethal with every passing week. PSG are favorites to regain their Ligue 1 titles and other domestic leagues of France will not be a difficult task for them.
However, the ultimate dream is the Champions League, a trophy that they have been chasing for a long.
