Julian Nagelsmann’s side is plagued by a host of injuries in their squad. A number of key players will miss the game owing to injury or some other cases. Joshua Kimmich is still recovering from COVID-19 and will sit out. New signing Marcel Sabitzer will also be out due to an injury. Apart from that, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is also out due to thigh strain. Sven Ulreich, Bouna Sarr, and Tanguy Nianzou are also expected to feature in the long list of absentees. Nagelsmann will have to somehow manage the game without these players.

Borussia Dortmund

Similar to that of Bayern, Dortmund is also missing a number of key players due to injury. All of Mateu Morey, Marcel Schmelzer, Gio Reyna, and Moukoko is injured and won’t feature in the team list. The biggest boost for MarcoRose will though be the return of star striker Erling Haaland to action last week against Wolfsburg.
